The authors of the book The Learning Company say: ‘Action in the learning company always has two purposes: to resolve the immediate problem, and to learn from that process’ (Pedler, Burgoyne and Boydell 1991). This sounds suspiciously like action learning in action! And the action learning set begins to resemble a learning company/organization in microcosm: 20 WHAT IS ACTION LEARNING?
